A couple of weeks ago, I was set up early for a wedding reception in Madison, SD. There were a couple of guys playing acoustic guitars for the cocktail music, so I put on my headphones, started the video camera, and recorded this little turntable set.
(Side note - I recorded the audio directly to my laptop and the volume was down on my main speakers, so nobody could hear it but me.)
Here’s a fun little mix that I recorded live in my “DJ studio” a few days ago. I recorded it using two Technics turntables, a Rane-TTM56 mixer, and Serato Scratch Live.
It’s a good example of some of the music that I like to play later on in the evening at wedding receptions.
This past Saturday, I DJ’ed an awesome High School dance in Vermillion, SD. It was my third year of doing their Winter Formal and like always, the students were amazing! I was able to record my entire live set on my laptop and upload it to Zshare. Click on the links below to download and/or listen.
The entire set was mixed using 2 turntables and Serato Scratch Live. Enjoy!
